A POEM INSPIRED BY THE ACTOR RORY COCHRANE

Face round like the moon
Features dark as the night
He walks proud and bright
In skin soft and white
And I always long to see him soon.

His mysterious oriental flair
His lustrous pitch black hair
Hold the promise of an exotic story
In some mystical territory
That is how I see Rory
A treasure truly rare.

Even the magic deep sound of his voice
Invites you to dream the day away
And is enough to make you rejoice.

There's so much more to say
Than words can convey
I think I'll lay my pen to rest
Keep my poem in a chest
Knowing he's really the best.

CSI: Miami was actually my least favourite of the CSI franchise, but paradoxically, it had my favourite character.
Not from the beginning, though. At first, I actually felt Speed was unfriendly and didn't really like him, but his sarcastic sense of humour kept growing on me.
Rory Cochrane being so attractive didn't hurt... Nor his brilliance as an actor. I really like the understated intensity of his style of acting. He's definitely on my Top Actors (along with Harrison Ford, Jennifer Lawrence, Edward Norton... Not necessarily in that order, or any other for that matter). And he does have one of the traits that I find most attractive in a man: his deep deep voice.

I will start with the only poem that is about the actor (all the others are about the character).
It's inspired by the very attractive result of Rory's mixed origins.
